Industry Collaboration
RACLAB drives technology transfer through joint R&D projects with Turkish industry leaders and international organizations, funded via TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB, and EU programmes.

RACLAB and Elfatek jointly developed the Robot Electronic Control Unit (REKÜ) — a modular, indigenous hardware platform for autonomous mobile robots. Three joint projects spanning 2020–2025 covering design, field testing, productization, and cleaning robot integration.
Projects: TÜBİTAK 1501 (2020–2022) · KOSGEB Ür-Ge (2024–2025) · IoT-AMR KOSGEB
The most extensive industry collaboration in RACLAB's history. Six joint projects covering coordinated adaptive traffic signal control (K-TASK), V2I communication modules, digital twin intersection systems, IoT multi-intersection control, AI-based traffic analysis, and a World Bank-supported green transport analytics platform.
K-TASK (TÜBİTAK 1511) · V2I Module (1507) · Digital Twin (1501) · IoT Multi-Intersection (1501) · AI Traffic Analysis (1501, 2026) · Green Transport (1832) · KOSGEB Intersection Data
Three active projects with Otobot focusing on IoT-based autonomous mobile robot fleet management, agricultural UAV spraying systems, and an indigenous UAV flight control ecosystem (UKE).
AMR Fleet (2024) · Agricultural UAV Sprayer 1507 · UAV Flight Control UKE 1507 (2025–active)
Development of a fully autonomous outdoor shuttle for patrol and service missions. RACLAB led sensor fusion, localization, route planning, and obstacle avoidance research — field-validated over 4 years (2021–2025).
Autonomous Outdoor Shuttle · 2021–2025
International ERA-NET Cofund ICT-AGRI-FOOD project coordinated by Prof. Dr. Akif DURDU. Uses satellite data, remote sensing, and GIS to build a sustainable sugarbeet production incentive and monitoring system.
ERA-NET Cofund ICT-AGRI-FOOD · 2022–Active
Design, development, and prototype manufacturing of a smart-mapping autonomous orchard spraying machine. Integrates sensor fusion, autonomous route planning, and variable-rate spraying for precision agriculture.
TÜBİTAK 1501 · Aug 2025 – Ongoing · Budget: ₺6,500,000
Two joint R&D projects with Butkon Lift in elevator technology. The first project (BUT-CALL X2E) develops a CANopen-Lift compliant secure communication platform for robots and smart devices in elevators. The second project builds an IoT-supported smart two-way communication and digital twin platform for elevator management systems.
BUT-CALL X2E — TÜBİTAK 1507 (Feb 2026 – Ongoing, ₺1,000,000) · IoT Digital Twin — TÜBİTAK 1707 (Mar 2026 – Ongoing, ₺3,700,000)
RACLAB served as advisor on the K-TASK project (Coordinated Fully Adaptive Signalization Control System) with Innomotive — a Priority Areas R&D project under TÜBİTAK 1511. The system achieved coordinated adaptive traffic signal control across multi-intersection urban networks.
K-TASK — TÜBİTAK 1511 Priority Areas R&D · Apr 2018 – Mar 2020 · Budget: ₺2,500,000
